Guntur obtained a Master Degree in International Business from Birmingham University, United Kingdom. He has over 10 years of professional experience with numerous international institutions, including the World Bank, CIFOR and UNDP. Over the past seven years, he has been actively engaged in providing technical assistance to the Government of Indonesia in the fields of forestry and climate change. At the World Bank, he deeply involved in the design and implementation of Forest Carbon Partnership Facility (FCPF). His research interests include topics such as REDD+, Safeguards, Climate Finance and environmental sustainability. At EII, Mr. Prabowo is leading the stakeholder engagement with government counterparts and development partners, overseeing the operational and management work, and also actively participating in numerous research projects. In the past, he was a passionate Indonesian language teacher. He believes that he has developed his social and networking skills from the experience and exposure of teaching foreigners.
