Patricia Medina is a Forest Engineer with a master’s in ecotourism. She has more than 15 years of experience formulating and managing projects focused on rural development and the conservation of natural resources, with broad participation from regional and local governments, decentralized organizations, rural communities, and producer associations. She has an extensive background in territorial management and natural resource governance, based on a participative approach and gender equity. She was previously the Inter-institutional Coordinator of the Northern Association for Research and Integral Development (AIDER).
