Richard Gledhill

Richard is a former partner and the Global Leader of Climate Change & Carbon Market Services at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he oversaw an international network of more than 200 climate change specialists. Since retiring from PWC in 2013, Richard has served as an executive board member for the National Environment Research Council – the UK’s largest funder of independent environmental science, training and innovation.
Jean Pierre Ometto

Jean P. Ometto is Senior Researcher at the Brazilian National Institute for Space Research and Dean of the Earth System Science Centre. Dr. Ometto has worked extensively evaluating uncertainties associated to above ground biomass estimates and its effects on carbon emissions, at local and regional scales. He has contributed to the Brazilian Government on the issues related to the quantification of carbon emissions from LULUCF sector. His recent research focuses on effects of anthropogenic activities and climate change on natural biogeochemical processes, land use and land cover, effects on greenhouse gases emissions and nutrient balance.
