Tathiana Bezerra

Acting Regional Director, Colombia & Policy Analyst

Tathiana has a Bachelor’s Degree in law from Mackenzie University, São Paulo and a Master's Degree in Environmental Law from the University of California, Davis. She practiced tax law for four years in São Paulo, and later specialized in environmental law and policy through courses in carbon markets and Brazilian environmental law at the Federal University of Paraná.  She has previous experience with the government of California on issues related to the state’s climate change legislation and cap-and-trade program. At EII, she focuses on policy analysis and stakeholder outreach related to the Forests, Farms & Finance and other programs, particularly in Latin America.
