Magda Rojas Peña is an Environmental Engineer from the University Libre de Colombia, with a Post-Graduate Certificate (PGCert) in Human Resources Management from the University of the Amazon. In her professional experience, she has advised companies from different economic sectors in managing environmental impacts, solid waste, and wastewater dumping. She currently helps guide the development and implementation of a Low-Emission Rural Development (LED-R) in the Colombian and Ecuadorian Amazon. Magda has co-authored several EII publications, including jurisdictional profiles as part of the “The State of Jurisdictional Sustainability” study in collaboration with colleagues from EII and CIFOR.
