Dita holds a Master's degree in Environmental Studies and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from the University of Melbourne, Australia. Prior to joining EII, Dita worked as a researcher, where she conducted multiple studies on a variety of environmental issues including forest and land fires and sustainable commodities in Indonesia. Her research interests include climate change, forestry and forest and land fires. Dita's most recent study focuses on the effectiveness of village-level incentive mechanisms for reducing forest and peat fires in Riau, Indonesia. At EII, she serves as a Research Associate. In her free time, Dita enjoys going to the beach and scuba diving.
