Dita holds a Master’s degree in Environment and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from the University of Melbourne, Australia. Prior to joining EII, Dita worked as a researcher, where she conducted multiple studies on a variety of environmental issues including forest and land fires and sustainable commodities in Indonesia. Among her many interests in environmental issues, Dita is highly interested in forest and land fires, with her recent study focusing on the effectiveness of village-level incentive mechanism for reducing forest and peat fires in Riau, Indonesia. At EII, she serves as a Research Associate.

In her free time, Dita enjoys going to the beach and scuba diving.
